Suzanne Hornsby

Suzanne (aka “Suze”) is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer (CF-L1) and USA weightlifting level 1 coach (USAW-L1). She has been doing functional fitness style workouts since May 2017, after getting bored with monotonous daily workouts at the “globo gym”. It provided just the variety she was looking for to fall in love with fitness and grow as a person, athlete, and coach. She coaches 3-4 classes per week here at RPF, usually in the mornings.

Outside of the gym, she works as a Nurse Practitioner down the road at Centered Spine and Joint, where she is passionate about providing conservative care for sports related injuries, everyday aches and pains, and osteoarthritis. She also works part time in the Erlanger Medical ICU, leading the region’s Special Pathogens Response Team.

She is passionate about safe movement, fitness for fun, and mental health in fitness.

Luke Grant

Luke has enjoyed being active the majority of his life. He played Tennis for 15+ years and started coaching functional fitness over 5 years ago and has never looked back. He enjoys seeing each and every athlete achieving their goals and even levels of fitness they never thought possible. He will never turn down the opportunity to help someone in need of help in either form, scaling or modification. Having a disabled brother, he knows how a workout cannot be cookie cutter for everyone. Each individual that walks in the door is uniquely different and their needs are as such, so when needed, he enjoys tailored movements and modifications. He holds his CF-L2 certification and loves to learn more in detail about fitness and improving athletes capabilities. Aside from his affinity for fitness and sports, Luke owns and operates his construction company that deals with underground utilities. He is a “nerd” by choice and loves all things Star Wars, Dinosaurs and Comic Books. He and his wife/childhood sweetheart Amy have a sweet beagle and love a good time and relaxing day at the beach.
